Overview
EzyStore (ezystore.ir) is a specialized online marketplace for designer and niche perfumes targeting the Iranian market. The platform offers authentic fragrances from top global brands — Tom Ford, Yves Saint Laurent, Lattafa, and more — with a strong Instagram-driven discovery and sales channel.
Problem
The client had a growing, loyal Instagram following (@ezystore.ir) but no structured online storefront. Sales were scattered across DMs and manual coordination, making inventory management, order tracking, and payment processing unreliable and hard to scale.
Solution
Designed and built a complete e-commerce solution on WordPress + WooCommerce:
- Product catalog organized by gender and season (warm/cold) with detailed fragrance descriptions
- Pocket perfume line — a unique product category for affordable, travel-friendly versions
- Instagram integration — product tags and social proof channels feed directly into the storefront
- User accounts with wishlist, order history, and tracking
- Blog for fragrance guides and brand spotlights to drive organic SEO traffic
Design Decisions
WooCommerce over a custom build. The client needed a live, self-manageable storefront fast — not a bespoke platform that would need ongoing developer involvement just to add a product or run a sale. WooCommerce's admin gives a non-technical owner full control over catalog, pricing, and inventory from day one.
Gender/season catalog structure, not a generic category tree. Fragrance shoppers browse by occasion and season far more than by brand — a warm-weather citrus scent and a winter oud are different buying decisions entirely. Structuring the catalog around how people actually shop cuts the path from landing page to product page.
The pocket-perfume line as a deliberate bridge. Before the storefront existed, a chunk of the Instagram audience was already asking about smaller, travel-friendly sizes in DMs — a lower-commitment way to try a new scent. Making that its own catalog category turns an existing, informally-expressed demand into a proper, discoverable product line instead of losing it in one-off conversations.
Preserving the Instagram habit instead of fighting it. The audience's buying behavior was already anchored in Instagram — product tags and the storefront were built to meet that behavior where it already existed, rather than asking a loyal following to relearn how to shop from scratch.

We had started out selling on Instagram, and gradually felt we needed a store of our own. The new site helped us manage orders and products far more tidily, and improved the buying experience for customers as well.
